We had wonderful Spring Break and Easter. We always enjoy getting to spend time with family. First, we went to St. Louis to meet grandpa and spend a few days together. We went to the zoo on a gorgeous day. Janelle got her face painted like a kitten and Cael chose an eagle ( Payton opted out of the face painting) We also had fun at the science museum and the city museum. St. Louis is full of fun things for the family. If you've never been to the city museum you have to check it out. It is a bizarre combination of art, climbing tubes and slides and all sorts of crazy architecture that you get to climb through. It has become a favorite since we found it last year. We got home from St. Louis and had a day to pack for our visit to Kansas. GG had surgery so we went for a visit and to help. Although, with 3 kids running around we probably weren't much help. Janelle especially loves to read the Dr. Seuss books with Grandpa Jack. She has spent the last few weeks talking about "Mulberry Street" The boys kept themselves busy with all the yard games and the BB gun Grandpa Jack let them use to shoot cans. On Easter we went to mom & dad's for good food, a hunt and the hear the wonderful truth of Jesus's resurrection. Thank you Lord for sending your son to the cross for me. We had a nice suprise that day to by getting to see Bill and DeAnne and Anita, we weren't expecting that, but I was glad their other plans fell threw. Sorry guys better luck shopping next time. The weather has turned so nice and spring seems to bring around that renewal of energy and excitement for everyone. Everything has been going really well for our family, God has really blessed us much more than we deserve.
Wow, who is that good looking family! And where did you get that cute little kitten? How in the world did you get that eagle to land right in the middle of you guys?

Dad found an Easter egg from 2006 yesterday or day before. He trimmed the pampas grass across the alley a couple of days ago and went back yesterday to look to see if there was any new growth coming up on it yet. And there it was a yellow egg. Thankfully it was one that had coins hidden in it rather than carrots or candy--bet you guys wish you'd been helping PaPa with the grass. I found one under the carport on the old bird feeder first of the week too--it was this year's though, the candy was still good.
Maybe this summer Janelle can go see Mulberry Street. I know I still feel privileged to say I've been on Mulberry Street.
